Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) for Quikrete

Ok, for those of you that have not heard, things at the City Council meeting last night were quite interesting. I'm very anxious to see the fall out Bill Cummins and Mayor Hector will get from this!

Anyway, Cummins motioned to have some of the restrictions removed, Hector agreed with Cummins, though his vote was the opposite last month...funny how things can change the night before voting is happening. (From what I understand, Quikrete will now be allowed to run 24-7, will NOT have to enclose the silos, and will not have to keep the DBA as low). With a vote of 2 to 4, these conditions were removed.

So, what is the game plan now? Do we appeal to LUBA? If so, time is limited. Let's get some input of peoples thougths here please.
